I'm a Brit/Yank who has now settling back in Scotland with wife Tracy after living in New Zealand and traveling in Australia for a couple of years. The gas/ petrol here in Queensland has just reached A$1.50 a litre (75p a litre in UK terms, US$6 a gallon in US). So the Brits will think it is really cheap, the Americans pretty expensive and the Kiwi's somewhere in between.
